Colin's Farming Page - The farm is 400 acres(160 hectares), it milks 350 cows, the majority being from Fresian bloodlines although there is a hint of Holstien. The farm is totally pasture except for approxiamately 10 acres of sourgum which is used as a supplement at the end of summer and in the autumn when the herd calves.With access to irrigation the farm is able to survive through the drier summers as long as it is economic to use the water. It can be far more profitable and have greater benefit to the cows if the water is used late summer and early winter to grow the grass for the calving and early lactation period.

Inch Holsteins - The Inch herd was established in 1957 by T.J. Morrison at Downpatrick, Co.Down, N.I. Some of Irelands top cow families have been developed, most notable being the Nina & Anne families. Progressive breeding regardless of expense has always been followed with the introduction of Holstein bloodlines over 25 years ago. Three sires - Mattador, Eagle and Blackstar have had a big influence in the herd.
Innlawn Farms & Casmur Holsteins - is located in the north end of Oxford county just 10 miles south of Stratford, Ontario, Canada. We milk 45 holsteins in a tie stall barn. Our goal is to breed a large well balanced dairy animal with a top quality udder. Our feeding program is based on baleage. In order to consume large quantities of forage a large animal is required. The cattle are intensively pastured during May to Oct as well as fed free choice baleage. The ration also includes mixed grain, corn and roasted soybeans. All feed is grown on our 290 acres. An additional 55 acres is hardwood bush. The herd is classified regularly and milk recorded.

North Florida Holsteins - North Florida Holsteins was founded in 1980, milking 120 cows on 480 acres in a double 10 herringbone parlor. In 1984, the herd size had reached 1000 cows, and a double 12 herringbone parlor was built. Herd size continued to increase, and in 1990, with farm acreage up to almost 1000 acres, a state-of-the-art double 40 parallel parlor was built which today handles the 3600 head of milking age females. Young stock bring the total number at North Florida Holsteins to 6400. Approximately one third of these are Registered Holsteins; over 90% are identified.

HERMES POLL DORSETS - The stud's main operation is the production of rams for stud and commercial producers. We have a breeding base of approximately 450 stud ewes. We have successfully shown at all major shows in the country: Sydney, Albury, Cowra/NSW Championships and Melbourne.
Jondaryan Station - Jondaryan Station is our ranch in southwest Saskatchewan, Canada where we raise sheep and cattle on native grass and improved pastures. Castalia Llamas - I've been raising llamas since 1990 and brought an extensive background in training and owning horses to
this enterprise. I have llamas for sale year-round and also provide breeding services to two (soon three) fine studs to approved females. We're located in the beautiful San Juan Islands of Washington state.
Cedars Edge Llama Farm - We are Lori and Duane Jeter, owners and operators of our small 3rd generation family farm located in southern Iowa. Duane and I have been involved in raising llamas for the past 8 years and have enjoyed all aspects of the llama business. Show, sales, clubs, events, newborns, and just doing the chores are all part of the enjoyment.
Chase Tavern Farm - Chase Tavern farm was established December 26, 1993. We are located in the Town of Bowdoin, Maine bordering the town of Litchfield, halfway between Portland and Augusta. The house, built in 1767, is rich in history. The alpacas are lovable, friendly animals, each with their own distinct personalities. We invite you to learn more about alpacas !
