National Animal Health Monitoring System (NAHMS) - The USDA initiated the National Animal Health Monitoring System (NAHMS) in 1983 to collect, analyze, and disseminate data on animal health, management, and productivity across the United States. NAHMS conducts national studies to gather data and generate descriptive statistics and compiles statistics and information from data collected by other industry sources.

ATTRA - Appropriate Technology Transfer for Rural Areas is the national sustainable farming information center located at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville.

Babcock Institute for International Dairy Research and Development - The Babcock Institute links the US dairy industry with the rest of the world through training, continuing education, technology transfer, adaptive research, scientific collaboration, and market analysis.

Dairy Food Safety Laboratory - There is a critical need for a mechanism of performing rapid response, and applied research on dairy herd health and on-farm food safety problems. In addition, a laboratory that has a primary focus on the dairy producer is necessary for both undergraduate and graduate training, and to serve as a hub around which collaborative efforts in research and information dissemination revolve. The Laboratory's mandate is to provide a consistent, rapid response of applied research on herd health and food safety questions as they arise.

Ohio State University's Food Practicioner's Club - This site is maintained by students at Ohio State Veterinary College. We are interested in Food Animal Production Medicine and use this site to update the club on our activities, future plans and educational links on the internet. It will also be used as a tool for other people to access our club and look at what we are doing to improve agriculture.

Program on Agricultural Technology Studies (PATS) - The Program on Agricultural Technology Studies (PATS) is an applied research unit of the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. We conduct innovative research and outreach focused on the impacts of new agricultural technologies and public policies on family farming in Wisconsin.
