LSIRD network - Livestock Systems in Integrated Rural Development - LSIRD is a network of European researchers to encourage the development of sustainable extensive livestock systems

Gelston Hills Angus - Gelston Hills has been a beef cattle property since July of 1987. The original herd was a commercial herford-simmental cross producing strong beefy cattle with high calving ease and high muscles frames. The evolution to black baldy cattle came with the growth of the feedlot industry in South Eastern Australia. The feedlots, to a great extent, have paid a premium for black cattle.
